Making a booking
Send your dates on WhatsApp, by phone or by email. We check the room and the speedboat, confirm the price for your exact dates, and hold the reservation once you confirm it.
A booking is confirmed when we have written confirmation from you of the dates, the number of guests and the package, and we have replied to say the room is held.
Payment
Payment is made on arrival, at check-in. No prepayment is required to hold an ordinary reservation.
Accepted at check-in:
- Cash in US dollars or euros
- Card. Card payments carry a 3.5% processing fee on the transaction
The package price quoted to you is the total for the stay, for the number of guests quoted. It includes all applicable taxes and service charges. Anything you order during your stay, such as additional excursions, half or full board, or anything arranged for you locally, is added to that bill and settled the same way.
Deposits
Most bookings do not need one.
For longer stays, high-value bookings and peak-season dates, we may ask for a deposit of 10% to 25% of the stay to guarantee the reservation, normally by bank transfer.
If a deposit applies to your booking we will say so before you commit, with the amount and how to pay it. We will not ask for one after you have confirmed on the understanding that none was needed.
The deposit is part of the total, not additional to it, and is deducted from the bill at check-in. If you cancel, it is what any cancellation charge is applied against. See the cancellation policy.
Prices
Every published price is for two adults, on a bed and breakfast basis, with all applicable taxes and service charges included.
Additional guests, children, extra nights, half board and full board are quoted separately when you ask. We do not publish a price we have not confirmed.
Room rates vary by season. If your stay crosses a season boundary, each night is priced by the season it falls in, not by the month you arrive.
The price we confirm for your dates is the price you pay. It does not change after confirmation.
What is included
Every package, for two adults:
- The room, with breakfast every morning
- Return shared speedboat transfers, airport to Ukulhas and back
- One 4-in-1 Ocean Combo excursion
- All applicable taxes and service charges
One 4-in-1 Ocean Combo is included per package, not once per day.
Transfers
Speedboat seats are reserved once you send your flight details. Send them as soon as your flights are booked.
If your flight changes or is delayed, tell us as soon as you know. We will move your seats where the schedule allows.
Transfers included in a package cover two adults, both directions, on the shared scheduled speedboat. Additional passengers, children and private charters are quoted separately. Fares and detail.
Excursions
The 4-in-1 Ocean Combo is included once per package and scheduled during your stay, on a morning suited to the weather and sea conditions.
Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Routes and stops may change on the day according to sea and weather conditions. Additional excursions are arranged on request and quoted at the time.
Changing a booking
Changes made before arrival are handled under the cancellation policy.
Changes made after arrival, including leaving earlier than booked, are charged at the full booked stay.
Children
Children are welcome. Package prices are quoted for two adults, so send us the ages of any children travelling and we will price the stay properly.
Age bands: infant 0–2, child 3–10, adult 11 and over. Infants travel free on the speedboat; children aged 3–10 pay $25 per direction.
The island
Ukulhas is an inhabited Maldivian island. Alcohol is not legally served here. Swimwear is worn on the designated bikini beach and not elsewhere on the island. More about staying on Ukulhas.
